Della
is a licensed acupuncturist who specializes
in the care and treatment of painful chronic conditions,
gastro-intestinal complaints, women's health and fertility
care, and
nutritional support. She practices an integrative medicine based on
traditional Asian
medicine informed by modern research. Della has professionally
practiced and
studied Asian medicine since 1998. In addition to her
medical practice, Della is a KRI Certified Kundalini Yoga instructor,
teaches yoga classes in the community, and leads a yogic lifestyle. Her
unique skills and training bring together the
expertise of a nationally board-certified practitioner of Oriental
Medicine, a trained
Acupuncturist, and a certified Kundalini Yoga teacher.
Della is committed to providing excellent patient care and her busy practice includes patients of all ages and stages of life -- ranging from toddlers to elders. She is known for the attention she gives each patient, her compassion and deep listening. In addition to acupuncture, Della is a seasoned practitioner of Chinese herbal medicine and oversees the clinic's full-service herbal pharmacy. She has trained in a variety of Asian manual therapies and is certified in Zen Shiatsu.
Della graduated from the New England School of Acupuncture, the oldest teaching institution of East Asian Medicine in the United States where her academic focus included both Japanese acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. She is a member of the American Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (AAOM) and is the immediate past chair of the Libraries of Colleges of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (LCAOM).
Certified Reflexologist
Sabrina Sanchez received professional certification in reflexology from Omega Institute in Rhinebeck, NY and Kripalu in Lexington, MA. She also trained in healing touch at Omega Institute and is a certified yoga teacher in the Sivananda tradition. Steeped in eastern medicines, she studied both Tibetan medicine and yoga while living and traveling throughout India. In addition to offering reflexology and yoga therapy, Sabrina is currently earning a Masters in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from the New England School of Acupuncture and writing a book for healing back pain.
Specializing in chronic pain, back pain, and stress reduction, Sabrina works to help all people live with peace of mind, ease of heart, and balance in the body.
Receptionist
Tabitha is our receptionist at MetroWest Whole Health. She is behind the desk on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Tabitha is very helpful, so please ask her any questions. She's a Norfolk native and has two miniature dachshunds.
Office Manager
Natasha is the office manager at MetroWest Whole Health. She keeps things running here and has a passion for Chinese medicine. Natasha oversees reception so if you have any questions about our services, she's an excellent resource!
When not at MetroWest Whole Health, she can be found working in high tech, writing, or playing with Isabel, a Cardigan Welsh Corgi. Natasha writes poetry, non-fiction and fiction and leads writing groups. Natasha attended Wellesley College and graduated from University of Essex in England.
