Della Lawhon (Gurras Khalsa), MAOM, LAc

Director

Acupuncturist & Herbalist

Della (GuruRas Kaur or “Gurras” for short) is a licensed acupuncturist, herbalist, teacher of Chinese Medicine, and student midwife.  She enjoys working with families and individuals of all ages.  As an apprentice midwife working to become a Certified Professional Midwife, she attends births and assists with prenatal and postpartum care with Miriam Khalsa, CPM, a senior midwife in Massachusetts.  Gurras is an advocate for birth as a normal physiological process and works to empower women to have safe and healthy pregnancies

Gurras has practiced Asian medicine since 1998. She has a strong background in research and practices Chinese medicine as an integrative medicine: a traditional Asian medicine informed by modern research. 

In addition to her acupuncture practice, Gurras is a KRI Certified Kundalini Yoga instructor, teaches yoga classes in the community, and leads a yogic lifestyle.

Gurras is clinical faculty at the New England School of Acupuncture where she supervises third year interns treating patients with acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine.

Michele Recore-Bollar, MSTOM, LAc

Acupuncturist

Michele is a licensed acupuncturist with extensive experience treating acute and chronic muscular skeletal disorders, woman’s health issues, and gastro-intestinal difficulties. She also works with cancer patients and survivors using acupuncture to address symptoms related to medication side effects and surgery/treatment recovery.  Michele is trained in Chinese herbal medicine.  Michele is a graduate of the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York City.

When not in clinic she can be found with her husband chasing their toddler son around.

Noreen Cerqua, LCMT

Massage Therapist
Certified Arvigo Practitioner and Community Educator

Noreen is a licensed massage therapist with advanced training in the Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy™.  She is also a certified Arvigo Community Educator.

Noreen believes that everyone has an innate healing wisdom and each person knows what he or she needs. She provides the support that empowers individuals to move toward healing, wellness and balance.

Noreen is a graduate of the  Muscular Therapy Institute in Cambridge, MA and has completed a 10-month herbal apprenticeship. Committed to helping her clients help themselves, Noreen continued her training, pursuing advanced training in Pregnancy Massage, Reiki and Flower Essences in addition to Arvigo Techniques™.  More info

Dharma Kaur Khalsa

Sat Nam Rasayan® Healing

Dharma Kaur is a Level II certified practitioner and teacher of Sat Nam Rasayan Healing. She was personally trained in yoga by Yogi Bhajan, Master of Kundalini Yoga, and in Sat Nam Rasayan Healing by Guru Dev Singh, Master of Sat Nam Rasayan Healing. Sat Nam Rasayan® is a registered trademark of Guru Dev Singh Khalsa.

Dharma Kaur is also a minister in Sikh Dharma, a certified Kundalini Yoga teacher, and has been trained in childcare, massage, and other holistic healing practices.

Sham Rang Singh Khalsa, M.D.
Mind-Body Ayurvedic Medicine

Sham Rang provides consultations to people interested in improving their health and well being through a deeper understanding of the connection between our mind and body. He has created treatment models for individual and group healing through a revolutionary merging of Ayurvedic and allopathic medicine, eastern and western science. Sham Rang’s process utilizes meditation with a strong focus on helping people open to their own self-healing.

Thirty five years ago, Sham Rang’s deep interest in yoga, energy work, the healing power of foods, and the human auric field brought him serendipitously to find the path of Kundalini yoga and meditation as a student of Yogi Bhajan. He has completed training in Ayurveda and Japanese acupuncture. With an M.I.T. undergraduate degree in nutritional science, medical school, residency in Internal Medicine, and 25-year practice of Emergency Medicine, Sham Rang has been able to integrate western medical practice and family life with an impeccable 2-3 hour daily spiritual practice of over 3 decades.

Natasha Schneider/Nam Joti Kaur (NJ)
Office Manager

Natasha/Nam Joti is the office manager at MetroWest Whole Health. She keeps things running here and has a passion for Chinese medicine. If you have any questions about our services, she's an excellent resource! She's at the reception desk on Saturday mornings.

When not at MetroWest Whole Health, she can be found working in high tech, writing, or playing with Isabelle, a Cardigan Welsh Corgi. Natasha writes poetry, non-fiction and fiction and leads writing groups. Natasha attended Wellesley College and graduated from the University of Essex in England.
